The Letters Are Reaching People Again

On June 25th, I pressed send on a Heavenletter to every language list we have. Thirteen languages. Nearly twelve thousand subscribers. The first free Heavenletter in years to reach people in their mother tongue: Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Turkish, Romanian, Russian, Chinese, Korean. And English.

I didn't know if anyone would respond.

They did.

Veronika from Germany wrote back the morning after: "what a deep touching HeavenLetter, Thank you! 💖🪄"

Gisela, reading in Spanish, replied in a flurry: "Hola!!!!! Gracias Gracias Gracias!!!!!!! Hermosa!"

Christine wrote simply: "I love Heaven Letters. Thank you. Peace."

Alan sent a meditation on God's presence and forgiveness that ended with: "ALWAYS LOVING YOU and Appreciating the help you & GOD gives us, THANK YOU. IN ONENESS."

Victor: "Thank you for a wonderful Heavenletter!"

And many more. Simple hellos. Quiet thank-yous. People who haven't heard from Heavenletters in their language for years, opening an email and finding God speaking to them again.

Replies came from the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Korea, Italy, Chile, Spain, South Africa, Portugal, Nigeria, Mexico, Germany, Aruba. People in different time zones, different languages, opening the same letter and feeling moved to write back.

The spam complaint rate dropped to 0.14%. SMTP2GO, our email provider who had placed us under observation after a rough patch earlier this year, saw the numbers and let us continue.

Here's what I want to tell you: the letters are reaching people again. The quiet work of the past months: cleaning the database, rebuilding the email system, auditing thousands of translations, building the search engine. All of it was for this. The infrastructure is ready. The community is waking up.

Something Real Is Taking Shape

We're registering as a non-profit. The International Godwriting Society of Heavenletters will give the project a legal home, a structure that outlasts any individual steward, and the legitimacy that opens doors to grants, partnerships, and community funding. Three people have said yes to serving as directors. This is a quiet but significant step.

The search engine now understands meaning. In the last Heaven News I introduced the search engine. Since then, Normand Bourque, a researcher from Australia who has been studying Heavenletters for years and is publishing a book on Heavenletters and Quantum Physics, wrote to say it's the best thing invented for Heavenletters in years.

The engine now supports semantic search: you can search by meaning, by feeling, by theme. You don't need the exact words. Here's what happened when I searched for "The world is in transition":

No keywords. No exact matches. The engine understood the meaning of the search and found letters that resonate with it across decades of Gloria's writing.

Website progress. Most of the blocking work on the new website is cleared. Infrastructure is up, data migration is complete, much of the design is done. About 220 hours of coding remain, which I'm knocking off whenever I have free time. Several people sent beautiful messages for Gloria's memorial page. I'll have that up soon. The People Who Make This Possible

I want to name two people whose generosity has directly funded the work you're seeing.

A long-time supporter from the Republic of Korea has been quietly supporting Heavenletters for years. His donations helped build the multi-lingual mailing list infrastructure that made the free tier possible, and he recently increased his monthly contribution, a quiet vote of confidence that moved me deeply. He's been translating Heavenletters into Korean and posting them on his blog, continuously, for thirteen years. When I told him the Korean list was going live, he wrote back:

Luus van Leeuwen from the Netherlands. Luus is 82, a former Dutch translator for Heavenletters. She contributes monthly to cover our email service costs, and recently increased her giving. When the spam issue threatened our ability to send, it was Luus's tithe that kept the emails flowing. She told me simply: "This is what I will do monthly from now on."

There are others. Celia, recovering from a stroke. I sent her some recovery suggestions and prayers. Theophil from Germany. Veronika. Stefan. Carola. Jean-François. Jim. Magdalena. Roland. People who give what they can, when they can, because they believe in what Heavenletters brings to the world.

Every contribution, every reply, every "hello" and "thank you": these are the signals that tell me the work matters.

Community Spotlight: 13 Years of Korean Translation

A long-time supporter from the Republic of Korea discovered Heavenletters fifteen years ago. He told me: "Since then, my life has completely changed."

For the past thirteen years, he has been translating Heavenletters into Korean and posting them on his blog. Continuously. Without pay. Without recognition. Simply because the letters moved him and he wanted them to reach Korean readers.

He's not alone. Vera, another Korean translator, posts translations through a Korean online community. Between the two of them, they've been quietly keeping the Korean Heavenletters alive for over a decade.

When I wrote to him in June to tell him the Korean mailing list was about to go live, funded by his donations, he stayed up late to write back. His message ended:

This is the Heavenletters community. People working in the quiet, for years, because the words landed and they couldn't not share them.

To the translators in Korea: the Korean list is live. The letters are reaching your people. Thank you for keeping the flame alive all these years.

A Deeper Exploration: Gratitude, Grieving, and Seeing With New Eyes

This section is for those who want to go deeper. I used our new semantic search engine to explore the theme of transformation through Joanna Macey's Active Hope framework: gratitude, grieving, seeing with new eyes, and going forth.

A few years ago, I did a live course with Joanna Macey. She passed in 2025. Her work was rooted in a spiral: gratitude, grieving for what must die, seeing with new eyes, going forth. Joanna reminded me of Gloria. Perhaps the same soul family.

What some call destruction, I call transformation. Our world is in a tipping zone. As we go through this transition, we can expect life to change in significant ways. How are we to navigate this change gracefully? My sense is that our family of Heavenreaders are more prepared than most, because we share a diverse spiritual worldview: we know on some level that change is necessary, that a brighter world is being birthed, and that through all these transformations we are held in the eternal Heart of God.
